I had incisional surgery 15 years ago, and my double eyelid has also come undone, and because of sunken upper eyelids, it’s turning into multiple double eyelid folds. That was stressing me out, so after thinking and thinking about it, I went for a consultation today, but I’m not sure which method I should chooseㅠㅠ
Clinic A (Director ㅌㅇㅅ ㅇㅅㅊ) Procedure method : Incision + ptosis correction + upper eyelid fat repositioning (consider fat grafting if there is no fat to reposition)
Clinic B (Director ㅇㄹㅇ ㅇㅇㄷ) Procedure method : Natural adhesion + upper eyelid fat grafting
From what I’ve seen of people getting upper eyelid fat grafting, it seems like most usually do it with incision and ptosis correction.
For Clinic A, I trust the fact that they said they would try repositioning first rather than immediately recommending upper eyelid fat grafting.
For Clinic B, the director was kinder and I liked them more, and they said the swelling goes down better with natural adhesion, so this time I do feel like trying natural adhesion instead of incision.
I heard that if fat grafting goes wrong, it can remain bumpy, so I’m really tornㅠㅠ
