I was stressed because of my upper-arm fat that wouldn’t go away no matter how much I exercised, so I got liposuction, and now I’m on day 2.
I’m 162 cm tall, weigh 49 kg, exercise pretty hard in my own way, and have a slim body type. People around me were all against it, saying, “Why would you get liposuction?” and “Where do you even have fat to remove?” But everyone has complexes that only they themselves know about, right? For me, one of those was my upper arms. My body is on the thin side, but my upper arms weren’t exactly thin. Even my personal trainer said my arms were a bit thick compared with my body... I wanted completely bone-thin arms, but no matter what, the upper-arm fat just wouldn’t go awayㅠㅠㅠ
I had a consultation, and as expected, they said there wasn’t much fat to remove.. haha They recommended just refining the line? They said that even if they removed fat from the front, they wouldn’t be able to take out much, and it would probably just leave one more scar. They suggested mainly removing the bulging area in the back. I also thought I shouldn’t overdo it, so I only had the back part removed. So they made just one incision near the back of my elbow and removed the fat through there!
On the day of surgery, I came home afterward, and it felt like blood wasn’t circulating in my arms.. Maybe it was the anesthesia, but I couldn’t even tell if it hurt, and I slept in a daze all day. On day 1, my hands gradually started swelling. After I went for about a 30-minute walk, it got a bit better (though it still hurt..) On day 2, because of the swelling, I opened my eyes in the morning and my hands were numb?? To the point where I couldn’t even make a fist.. Now my fists have become Doraemon fists.. hahahahaha Still, today I can lift my arms a bit more, so I’m planning to go for about a 1-hour walk. I’m so excited because I think I’ll be able to wear sleeveless tops confidently this coming summer.
