Because my square jaw was severe, even from the front, my lower face stood out too much, even if not as much as a man’s. It had been a complex of mine for a long time, and ever since I started going around without a mask, I think I became even more conscious of it. I had been covering it well, but it felt like people’s eyes were only drawn to my jaw for no reason ㅠ
Objectively, I’ve never once thought my face was small. Actually, before going for the consultation, my goal wasn’t only to get square jaw surgery, but they strongly opposed doing more. They said that just doing the jaw would be enough to improve my current complex, so there was no need.
Even on the day of surgery, I was honestly half in doubt, thinking, if it’s not enough, I’ll just do it again later after some time passes... I’m saying this now, but seeing how I look now, I really think it’s best to listen to doctors first lololol If I had forced it and done my cheekbones together too, I think only my forehead would have looked bigger. The data built up from surgical experience... I really felt the director’s experience properly. The staff in charge of aftercare also looked after me kindly and well, and in many ways, I feel like I spent a month with high satisfaction at minimal cost hehe. The minor swelling will keep going down from now on, so I hope time passes quickly hahaha!
