Before<Before surgery>Before<Bare eyes, lightly made up!>BeforeIt’s been two months since I had double eyelid surgery!! I had two procedures, incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, and the first photo is before surgery! The second and third photos are from now, at two months! If you look at the before-surgery photo, my eyes were uneven, and on the inner corner of the eye with the double eyelid on the left side in the photo, there was something called an ectopic lacrimal gland, kind of like a small hole? I was really stressed because of that.. So for the epicanthoplasty, they opened it as much as possible up to just before the ectopic lacrimal gland, and they did the right eye to match that too! My right eye was more closed off than my left eye, so after the epicanthoplasty it looked so much more open... I really recommend epicanthoplasty for eyes that are closed off like that.......... I personally feel there’s such a huge difference between doing it and not doing itㅠ Of course it hurt a little when the stitches were removed, but even now, if I went back to before, I think I would definitely do the epicanthoplastyㅎㅋㅋ Originally I wasn’t going to because of the ectopic lacrimal gland, but I really wanted it, so I coordinated well with the director and got it done. The right eye in the photo without double eyelids was also so closed off.. But I really think I made the right choiceㅠ When doing makeup, I used to get stressed every time I drew eyeliner because of my uneven eyes, but now there’s none of that at all, it’s honestly just pure comfort... I even thought I should’ve done it sooner. Even with bare eyes, having double eyelids feels like I gained some kind of passive skill...??ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, I’m really satisfied with getting double eyelid surgery.. People around me also say my eyes got bigger, so I feel proud too..ㅎ.ㅎ After getting double eyelid surgery, it feels like my quality of life went up..ㅠ
