Review after visiting 8 clinics and getting revision double-eyelid surgery with line lowering using the two-line technique (2 weeks post-op)

Before<<before>>before<<before>>after<<day of surgery>>after<<1 week post-op>>after<<2 weeks post-op>>Hi everyone!! Around 2018 or 2019, I had incisional double-eyelid surgery + posterior canthoplasty + ptosis correction at ㅇㅇㄹㅁ, but after it came undone once and I had it redone, my eyes became uneven sausage eyes.. The posterior canthoplasty also healed strangely, so that went a bit badly too..ㅎ Anyway, between going to academy, job hunting, working, and living real life, I never had time for revision surgery, but this time I quit my job and decided to commit to visiting clinics and getting revision surgery.

If you look at the before photos, the lines are uneven, and sometimes they came out really puffy like sausages, so I really didn't like them..

So I visited about 8 places mainly around Apgujeong to Gangnam, and every single one suggested the two-line technique + ptosis correction solution. But at ㅇㅇㅋ, during the consultation the director examined me really carefully and said I didn't need ptosis correction. He said ptosis correction wasn't the important part. So compared with other places, it didn't feel like overtreatment, which drew me in and made me think about it, and since the two-line technique is a highly difficult surgery and people say it's definitely better to do it somewhere with a lot of experience, I decided on this place, which specializes only in eyes. Honestly, having the revision cost start with a 4 was really expensive and burdensome, but since I was already spending the money, I wanted it done properly, so I paid the deposit and went ahead..! For now, we proceeded with lowering the line. And I asked, "Since I'm already doing it, would it be okay to do something like an upper canthoplasty too?" But he said upper canthoplasty wasn't what's important right nowㅋㅋㅋ He actually talked me out of it ㅎ;; So I just proceeded with the two-line technique only.

The after photos are spaced 1 week apart. First day > 1 week post-op > 2 weeks post-op (today)

I was surprised because the swelling wasn't as bad as I expected. When I first got double-eyelid surgery, I bruised and swelled like crazy, to the point that it looked a bit gross.. Still, because I wanted the swelling to go down quickly, I slept almost sitting up all week and drank 6 packs of pumpkin juice a day ㅎ;; I also applied ointment consistently. I had the stitches removed on day 5. For meals, I just ate low-calorie things like diet lunch boxes. I avoided anything too stimulating or spicy as much as possible in case it affected the swelling. I tend to swell a lot more than other people, so I thought it would take at least two months for the swelling to go down, but since I can already see the line like this, I feel relieved, thankful, and excited too. I'm satisfied because it seems to have settled well. I hope everyone visits a lot of clinics and meets a director who gives a good solution, so it settles beautifully. Good night, everyone :)
