ㅇㅎㅅ ㅊㅇ ㅇㅇㅇ ㅍ I went to four places for consultations, and the price was on the expensive side, but they understood the points I wanted the best, so I put down a deposit on the day of the consultation!
There were a lot of reviews saying they regretted not lowering the lower canthoplasty more because it goes back up once the swelling settles, so I asked them to lower it more than 180 degrees! But even so, I’m feeling the same way I should’ve lowered it more..!
A very long time ago, I had incisional double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction, but I had it done outside Seoul back then too, and that clinic is apparently closed now Also, they set the double eyelid line itself way too low I guess it made me look kind of tired.. I didn’t like that, so I had revision surgery.
<What was hard> On days 1-2, I experienced hellish pain, and because of the nature of ptosis correction, my eyes wouldn’t close all the way, so I kept tearing up, and it would harden into eye discharge, and even removing that hurt so much.. I basically lived half-blind.
On days 3-4, the pain was like days 1-2, but it hurt so much that I couldn’t sleep until dawn and kept groaning I took Tylenol and barely managed to sleep.
Even after half a year, my smile looked awkward, so I was really stressed Maybe because of the ptosis correction, my smiling eyes looked really.. like I’d had too much plastic surgery Even when I smiled, the double eyelid line looked thick I was so stressed because of that But still, I didn’t regret getting double eyelid surgery itself.
<What was good>
The hospital doctor and staff were all sweet, so there wasn’t anything stressful.
For lower canthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, I really asked them to cut as much as they possibly could. But because of my bone structure, there were limits, so they couldn’t cut it that long. Even so, the effect is good My eyes definitely look more open and refreshed.
For people who look tired because of fat under the eyes, I really recommend under-eye fat repositioning! For me, the satisfaction was higher than double eyelid surgery! Just because it’s under-eye fat repositioning doesn’t mean it removes the aegyo-sal under the eyes too, so don’t worry ㄴㄴ Once the tired look disappeared, my whole face looked brighter
Now it’s been about 9 months, and my smile is less awkward now! I guess time really is the best medicine. Several million won is definitely a lot of money, but I’m satisfied because that money reduced my stress and increased my happiness in life! Even if I had spent the same money on something else, I don’t think it would have made me this happy
