Hehe, I first had eye surgery with Director Park at ㄱㄹㅅ near Sinsa Station, which no longer exists now. I decided because I was drawn in by his confident attitude, saying he could remove the double eyelids and make my eyes look gentler, and I had the surgery.
After the surgery, the flesh on one eye where I had lateral canthoplasty opened up, exposing the mucous membrane like it was bleeding, so I had revision surgery. Even so, the mucous membrane was still exposed, and the manager in charge had left the clinic. The skin healed in that state, became ㄷ-shaped, and the mucous membrane remained exposed.
After they merged and moved to ㅇㅈ in the ㅍㄱㄷ building near Gangnam Station, I had medial epicanthoplasty restoration because the medial epicanthoplasty I had previously received from Director Park had been done incorrectly. After the surgery, the depressed scar became severe, so I told the clinic. They told me to come in, looked at the condition, and said the surgery was well done and that a scar like that did not matter.
They kept neglecting it without any care, and only after I appealed on several apps with long posts did someone called the clinic director say they would resolve the problem. I visited the clinic several times and had consultations with multiple specialists, but all they said was that the surgery seemed to have gone well with no problems and that I should not have surgery. They kept dragging it out, and then I was notified that that person had also left the clinic, and I was handed over to another director.
When doing eye surgery, you usually have to close and open your eyes, so normally sleep anesthesia is used only briefly during very local anesthesia, they put you to sleep for a moment, wake you up, and operate while you are conscious. But I had surgery under sleep anesthesia where the surgery was already over when I woke up. I had all 3 surgeries like that with the same director.
Even during my first surgery at ㄱㄹㅅ before the merger, while I was lying on the operating table, I woke up from sleep anesthesia and heard footsteps of someone entering the operating room. Then someone else who had been sitting behind me took both hands off my forehead. I was awake from anesthesia, and the person who came in said, “Please open your eyes.” It was the specialist in charge. They handed me a mirror and told me to look, but the surgery was already almost finished, and when I suddenly felt so much pain, they gave me sleep anesthesia again.
On the clinic website it said short-term sleep anesthesia or very local anesthesia, so I asked about it, and they said surgery under sleep anesthesia was Director Park’s own style to reduce patient discomfort. I had 3 surgeries that way.
There were many things that felt questionable, so I asked the clinic to show me the CCTV. They said that if the clinic is asked before surgery to record, they record it and delete it the next day. They also said some operating rooms have CCTV and some do not.. So they said they can only show it if recording was requested, and if it was not requested, they cannot show itㅜㅜ I have all the text messages too.
A clinic staff member said they would periodically keep records of the condition of my eyes and took photos with their own phone, but when photos were taken in the consultation room, the scar did not show. I don’t know if they used an app, but it has been over 2 years since I had medial epicanthoplasty restoration at that clinic, and the scar is so severe, yet they only tell me to wait. The clinic said medial epicanthoplasty restoration is originally a surgery that inevitably leaves scars. They also said the laser is for chest scars, so there is nothing they can do.
The area where I had lateral canthoplasty also opened on one side, so the mucous membrane shows like it is bleeding, with ㄷ-shaped adhesion and mucosal exposure. It is really severe. Be careful of ㅇㄹㅅㅅ… I thought this kind of thing only happened to other people, but after experiencing it, I realized it does not. I honestly think a place with one director may be safer.
I do not want more victims like me to appear, and when you have surgery, definitely request CCTV and make sure to ask for it after surgery. ㅇㅈ is a large clinic, so they take a “do whatever you want” attitude, and even if something goes wrong, there is no way to do anything. They do so much broker-style promotion that many people will probably visit, but when you actually think about how the directors can perform surgery on that many patients in a day while also doing consultations, be careful of ㅇㄹㅅㅅ. They are not only looking at youㅜㅜ
