My temples were sunken, so it had always bothered me, and I heard there was temple filler, so I tried it!! It was my first procedure ever, and since it is a special area, I was really worried, but I did a lot of research and chose a clinic with lots of reviews and only one board-certified specialist doctor haha
First, the clinic recommended 2 cc on each side, 4 cc total, but I had planned from the beginning to use imported filler, so 4 cc would have been over 1 million won, which felt too expensive. I also wanted a subtle, did-I-or-didn’t-I kind of look, so I got half of the recommended amount! They said if I tried it and it felt insufficient, I could get more later. The filler I got was Belotero.
After local anesthesia on a tiny area, they injected the filler, so it didn’t hurt, but the sensation was so creepyㅜㅜ It felt like something was stirring around near my temple bone with a stick...? On the day of the procedure, it swelled a lot and hurt, so I took Tylenol and fell asleep. For 1-2 weeks, sleeping on my side was impossible.. If it got pressed, it hurt and woke me upㅜㅜ
In the end, I’m extremely satisfied, and unless I bring it up, no one knows I had anything done lolololol But everyone says something looks different and that I got prettier, and some people even asked if I had something done to my forehead.. Since the temples are filled in, I guess even the forehead looks smoother. Anyway, it has been over 6 months now, and I’ve had no side effects and I’m satisfied! If the filler goes down, I’m willing to get it done again~
