Consultation Review for Contracted Nose Removal and Reconstruction

I got a lot of help from this community, so I’m posting this in case my experience can help someone too. No two surgeries are the same, and everyone’s skin characteristics and various conditions are different, so please be sure to keep that in mind and use this only as a reference.

ㅇㅈ The doctor consultation was around 20 minutes, and the consultation with the manager was about the same. They told me plainly whether my nose was an easy or difficult case, and the doctor calmly explained the methods they suggested for my current issues. I didn’t get the impression that they were extremely friendly, but they answered everything I asked and did not recommend any unnecessary surgery. The facility is small because it’s a private clinic. The manager also didn’t feel especially friendly, but there was nothing unpleasant either.

ㅇㄹ The doctor consultation was 30-40 minutes, and the manager talked with me a lot before and after the doctor consultation. The doctor even put a finger inside my nose and gave the most detailed explanation. I thought this must be someone whose basic tendency is to be meticulous to the extreme. They suggested a careful and thorough surgical method, so this was the clinic I thought about the most. There was absolutely no recommendation for useless additional surgery, and they clearly told me what was possible and what was not. However, the cost is very expensive. It’s a private clinic, so it’s small.

ㅅㅅㅇ Among the places I went, this was the only one that said since it is a contracted nose, we should touch as little as possible and proceed safely, and just remove the nasal bridge implant. I’m still deciding between ㅇㄹ and this place... The doctor is very calm. But they answered everything I asked until the end. I got the feeling this may be a place where I’d have to let go of some aesthetic expectations, but personally, I trusted them because they honestly told me not to be greedy. The manager also treated me comfortably.

ㄹㅋㅋ The doctor seemed very confident. Consultation appointments were backed up a lot, so this was the hardest place to book... I heard they have a blog, so it might be better to read it in advance and study before going... They answered everything I asked, and for things that were not possible, they clearly said, “We don’t do that.” I liked that they were firm. For the aesthetic aspect, ㅇㄹ and ㄹㅋㅋ seemed confident, but I’m a bit worried because the reconstruction they recommended seemed to involve touching a lot of areas. The cost was expensive, like ㅇㄹ.

Other than that, I also wanted to go to ㅊㅇ and ㅅㅣㅇ, but booking a consultation was too hard. Still, for revision surgery, the more clinics you visit, the more you seem to organize what you should do, so even if it’s tiring, I think it’s good to go to at least 3 places.
