Before and after I had double eyelid surgery (buried suture method) and ptosis correction on February 23, and today is finally day 7!!
When I was young, my eyelashes kept poking my eyes, so my mom took me to an ophthalmology clinic and I had my eyelids pinched, but as I got older, the line kept coming undone. Some days it would look pretty, and other days it would turn into monolids haha. It just did whatever it wanted, and that itself was so stressfulㅠㅠ Also, I didn’t have much strength opening my eyes, so I opened them using my forehead muscles, and wrinkles started forming on my forehead ..... That’s why I decided to get surgery!
I did a lot of research and went for a consultation, and everyone at the clinic was kind. The director also picked up well on the style I wanted and the areas that were stressing me out, so I put down the reservation deposit right away. Ah! The wait was a little longer than I expectedㅠㅠ
On the day of surgery, I arrived at the clinic for the very first time slot.. Maybe because I had local anesthesia when I was young, I remember it hurting a lot, screaming and struggling, so I was really scared. But while checking the line one last time and designing it, the director kept reassuring me. It was done under sedation anesthesia, but they said they would wake me up in the middle, so I was really worried it would hurt thenㅠㅠ Thankfully, there was no pain at all, and when I looked in the mirror after the surgery, the line was done so beautifully that I felt good!
Maybe because it was the buried suture method, the swelling seems to have all gone down in about 3-4 days? Now it’s a fight with the bruising!
