I had the external stitches and splint removed today.

Actually, I wrote “correction” in the title because, thinking about it carefully, I didn’t remove everything, so I tried calling it correction.
First, the nasal bridge separation I was worried about can be felt when I touch it, but it isn’t noticeable when looking at it.
I think it may become noticeable once the swelling goes down.
There is still a foreign-body sensation because there is an autologous costal cartilage support at the nasal tip, but maybe because the height was lowered, it has definitely improved compared with before.
Since the nasal tip is higher than my original nose, my nostrils aren’t round, but fortunately the shape doesn’t look strange or unnatural.
Since my nose was opened twice within a short time, if I want complete removal, I’m in a situation where I need a healing period of at least 6 months.
I’m going to watch it for 6 months, and if this foreign-body sensation is tolerable, I don’t plan to have any additional removal surgery. I feel like surgery really damages your health a lot. (I also have to work.. and money is money too..)
I’ll leave another review while monitoring the progress.
Nose surgery really doesn’t seem easy. ㅜ I should have thought about it more..
