Before and after: first of all, I had a short nose, an upturned nose, and a bulbous nose (I didn’t know, but that’s what they said). It’s been 9 months since the surgery! Only septal cartilage was used.
Honestly, I’m very satisfied with the result. Even if I could go back, I’d do it again haha. I only had it done for the purpose of lowering my upturned nose, and that part was improved perfectly, so I like it. But there was no correction for the bulbous nose~ (If you think, “It looks corrected in the photos??” that’s the power of shading.)
First, to praise it a bit, the clinic’s facilities are good and the director has a great aesthetic sense. They tailored it exactly to suit my face image. And I asked them to please make the alar reduction look as natural as possible, and they really did make it natural, but in photos it still shows a reduced look. = The director has good aesthetic sense. Oh, and they also gave me free scar-tissue injections (is that a given?) They made it so natural that when I came out and told my friends, they all said I was lying (my preferred look is natural, so I’m satisfied).
The downsides are haha 1 On the day of surgery, there were too many things they told me for the first time. Ex. If you lower it, the nostrils may look wider, the philtrum may look longer, etc. So on the day, I hurriedly said I’d do alar reduction too. 2 When I lie on my right side, I feel like my nose leans a little. I don’t know if it’s just my imagination.. 3 They recommended add-on procedures. Ex. Chin filler. 4 Maybe because it was non-implant surgery, but when I asked about side effects, they talked as if there were no side effects and didn’t even mention an aftercare period?
Did I write too many bad comments? Come to think of it, I even wonder why I chose it? But well haha.. at the time, I just felt like this was the clinic I should go with. Still, the surgery result is good, so I’m satisfied for now.
My one-line verdict is: I won’t stop anyone who wants to get it done at this clinic, but I wouldn’t actively recommend it.
