Review of Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery and Epicanthoplasty

I kept debating whether or not to do it, but my friend pushed me into it, so I did it. I found out about the clinic through my friend's recommendation. It was in another area, so I had a hard time making time for the surgery, and since the hospital was famous and large-scale, I think there were a lot of people there!

Since it was my first surgery, I thought I'd be extremely nervous, but it was better than expected. Before going into surgery, the director and the consultation manager were very kind and explained things well, so I think I felt more comfortable.

I hadn't really used double eyelid tape much, but I habitually rubbed my eyes often, so my eyelid skin was on the droopy side, and I faintly had inner double eyelids. Every time I took selfies with friends, I edited my eyes a lot ㅠㅠ

I had surgery with an incisional in-out line, and after surgery, it took me a very long time to come to in the recovery room. Maybe because of the sedation, I felt really nauseous ㅠㅠ The dizziness became somewhat okay after about two hours. Personally, I think I teared up a lot, and as the anesthesia wore off, there was a slight stinging and pulling feeling. After surgery, I think the stitches were long because they kept poking my eyes, so they cut them ㅠㅠ

I'm taking the medication and continuing to apply ophthalmic ointment, and I'm opening my eyes clearly while setting the line. I think doing a lot of cold compresses and moving around a lot helps the swelling go down faster. I still have a lot of bruising, so I have to wear sunglasses, and aside from the itching because it's healing, I'm satisfied with everything!
