Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I think my revision surgery turned out well

It’s been about 3 months since my revision rhinoplasty without rib cartilage, just replacing the silicone, using septal cartilage, and ear cartilage (from the unused side)! I was worried there might not be much change in the shape, but there is quite a difference before and after, and I think what’s good is that it doesn’t look like a surgically done nose. Maybe it’s because I had surgery myself, but sometimes when I see people with nasal tips that are too high and pointy, they do look pretty... but when my friends and I make eye contact at the same time, it gives such a strong feeling of “they got their nose done...” Luckily, I don’t have that feeling, and people tell me a lot that my nose is pretty with a slightly rounded tip and a straight-to-slightly-curved line, haha. I’m thankful to the people around me. It’s revision surgery, but I don’t think recovery has been particularly slow, and if anything, it feels faster than before. I know this is supposed to be a period when some residual swelling remains, but it just feels like my own nose and I don’t feel any awkwardness at all. Looking at photos, I can feel that the nasal tip has come down a bit compared with the beginning, but at first my nose looked a little upturned, haha. The director said he set it up in a way that prevents the nasal tip from drooping, and I hope it stays maintained as a pretty nose like this. Anyway, now I’m going to try drinking about a beer lol. I feel like I held back for too long. It’s a bit meh because it’s raining today, but on hot days I crave it so, so much haha.
