*This is a review after going for an in-person consultation at Thank You Plastic Surgery ❗️Actually, I wrote this once before, but for some reason I was suddenly downgraded to level 1, so I'm reposting to raise my level again❗️
Actually, I've never had plastic surgery before, and maybe it was because I went in with really high expectations since the doctor is so famous..? Maybe because I had my consultation in the afternoon, the doctor looked slightly tired. Maybe because of that, the consultation really ended in less than 5 minutes.. I originally used to wear double-eyelid tape (as a semi-out line). As soon as the doctor came in, he asked if I had photos of the eyes I wanted, and when I showed him photos with double-eyelid tape on, he immediately marked the line for me. He marked a total of 2 lines, and said, "Double-eyelid tape and double-eyelid surgery are different, so it can look more intense; I recommend lowering the line a little. And to make the line created by double-eyelid tape, you need an upper epicanthoplasty," he said (to prevent overlapping folds at the inner corner of the eye), so I was a bit conflicted. I really had zero intention of getting any canthoplasty ㅠ Since the doctor has many years of experience, I'm sure he can catch exactly what needs to be done as soon as he sees someone's eyes..! But it didn't really seem like he was going to take questions..? and I did feel somewhat like things were being rushed along. I was flustered because the consultation ended so quickly. The things I needed to ask suddenly vanished from my mind, so if it's your first time going, you should go really alert.
+I asked if it would be okay to get under-eye fat repositioning too, but he didn't recommend it, saying it wasn't that urgent and that I could probably do it when I'm older. Double-eyelid surgery (natural adhesion) is 1.5 million won, or 1 million won if the review event is applied. Upper epicanthoplasty is 800,000 won, or 400,000 won if the event is applied. There was almost a one-million-won difference depending on whether or not I did the review event, whew. The consultant and front desk staff are kind. The hospital facilities are clean and nice too. But I wasn't completely drawn to it, so I think I need to visit more places and think about it more.
