She also said I could ask anytime by KakaoTalk if I had any other questions, and even now she has been answering my questions sincerely Next, the director came in and proceeded with the consultation, explaining the surgical method, possible postoperative phenomena or side effects, measurements, the condition of my body, and implants suitable for me He asked whether I had any more questions and then wrapped up After that, the manager explained the cost in detail, and since I decided to have the surgery, I made the appointment, completed all the necessary preoperative tests that day, and went home
Day of surgery_ I arrived at the hospital and waited a little. After changing clothes: washed my face, brushed my teeth, and gargled > photo shoot > signed the consent form > design and consultation with the director > waited briefly in the lobby, then entered the operating room
After lying on the operating table and getting various things set up, the anesthesiologist came in and greeted me, and soon I was given anesthetic according to the anesthesiologist’s instructions and fell asleep right away When the nurse woke me up, the surgery was already all finished, so I moved straight to the recovery room They covered me with a blanket, turned on a warm-air heater, told me to press the call button next to me once I had recovered, and then stepped out It felt like for about 20-30 minutes my body was trembling, and without realizing it I kept tensing my chest and armpit area I thought I shouldn’t tense up too much, so I consciously tried not to, but it was impossible. I just gave up and waited for the anesthesia to wear off quickly
My breasts felt hot, and it felt like large, hard masses inside were continuously expanding and about to burst. It was my first time feeling my skin being forcibly stretched so much, and it was very hard
After about 1-2 hours, I felt my body had recovered somewhat and tried to press the call bell, but even that was quite difficult. The call bell was right next to the bed rail, but I thought it would be awkward for a breast surgery patient to press the call bell by herself. Arm movement was very restricted, so I barely pressed it by widening the distance between the call bell and my body as much as possible I was told I could urinate and then be discharged, so I went to the bathroom, spent half the day changing clothes, received the implant card at the desk, got instructions for the next visit and medication prescription, and was discharged
Day 1 after surgery_ From dawn, because of the pain and the feeling that my breasts were about to burst, I stayed up all night repeatedly leaning my back while sitting and slightly bending my body forward Rather than saying it hurt, “distressing” was the more appropriate word During the day, I occasionally had some rib pressure and mild breast pain, but it was generally bearable Thankfully, my mom prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me, so I could eat, rest, eat, rest, and be as careful as possible with my movements
Day 2 after surgery_ On day 2, I think I at least slept deeply. Before falling asleep, the distress was the same I removed the pain-control injection at the time matching when I had moved to the recovery room on the day of surgery, and it definitely felt better to be somewhat freer To celebrate removing the pain-control device, I also showered my lower body I developed back muscle pain and abdominal swelling. I looked at my breasts, and the left side had more upper fullness, front fullness(?), and a more clumped feeling, so for now they look uneven
Day 3 after surgery_ I slept well and felt like I could manage I had worried, what if the idea that things become manageable from day 3 didn’t apply to me, but that worry proved unnecessary, and the painful moments decreased a lot
Days 4 and 5 after surgery_ Now there is no pain at all, and sometimes I feel short of breath and a lot of stiffness, especially the left side is much stiffer From day 4, I started slowly going outside for walks, but when walking around outside, the stiff feeling felt twice as strong
