Since long ago, my low nasal bridge and bulbous nose were complexes for me, so I got filler and Hiko. But as time passed, the filler spread sideways and looked so badㅠ. Rather than dissolving it and getting it injected again, I thought it would be better to just have surgery, so I first chose a hospital while looking at reviews on cosmetic surgery apps!. I mainly looked for hospitals that were good at making bulbous noses slim and correcting them well, and hospitals with successful reviews. There was a hospital whose nose review photos were exactly the style I wanted, so I chose it! There were many review photos where round bulbous noses like mine had been corrected, so I visited right away! The appointment was delayed much longer than the reserved time, so I was tired, but the consultant was kind, and it was nice that she answered everything I was curious about. On the first day I went, I also met the director. She seemed busy and tired, but through that tiredness, she had such an expert aura… I felt she was trustworthy..!!! Kind of like a mom too..?? There was exactly one time slot left on the date I wanted to have surgery, so after thinking about it, I paid the deposit right away ^_^..
The surgery was over by the time I woke up from sleeping. There was really no pain at all, and other than being out of it while waking up from anesthesia and the recovery room being a little cold, it wasn’t bad. I went home, ate pumpkin porridge, and rested well~.. But there really was no pain, and I was also the type who did not have much swelling. It was just stuffy because of the splint, embarrassing while going about daily life and work, uncomfortable having to sleep sitting up, and having nasal congestion. There was really zero~~~ pain! There is no need to be scared at all! On day 3, when the cotton was removed, it felt so refreshing. On day 5, when the splint was removed, it felt good. On day 7, the nurse cleaned up my nose completely, and she was seriously so skilled… She did it so refreshinglyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was really so happy I really, really like my nose! The swelling hasn’t all gone down yet, so the nasal tip doesn’t feel completely sharp yet, but my really round nose has become slim! They also raised the nasal bridge to a height that suits my faceㅠㅠ I really, really like it♥ I’m looking forward to it more as time passesㅎㅎ You only have to suffer for exactly one week, and even now, of course, there is no pain or discomfort at all, and I’m living normally!
One thing that was a little disappointing was that before consultation and going into surgery, there was no mention of donated rib cartilage (they said they told me it might be possible to use it, but I don’t rememberㅠ). After the surgery, when I went to the hospital to have the cotton removed, they said that during surgery my septal cartilage was too thin, so they used donated rib cartilage, and I paid an additional 500,000 won…. According to the consultant and doctor, they can see my cartilage on CT, but the exact size can only be known after opening it during surgery.. They said it was too thin, so there was no choice but to add it. Well, if the doctor says so, there’s nothing I can do haha. It’s better than using only my thin cartilage and having it bend laterㅎㅎ Still, I thought it would have been better if there had been accurate guidance in advance. But actually, I like my nose so much that I don’t have many complaints And the wait is too long…. Even with a reservation, you can’t receive consultation at that time, and they make you wait too long. I wish the people sitting at the desk would be a little kinder and give accurate guidance. !!
Anyway, aside from a few disappointing things, I really like it! Honestly, I’m so happy just because the surgery I paid money for turned out pretty. When the swelling goes down a bit more, I’ll upload with photosㅎㅎ Thank you so much, director!
