Before starting this post, as someone suffering from side effects after fat repositioning, I would first like to make this request.
A face that has undergone surgery can never be returned to its original state. The clinic will not take responsibility either. Even if the clinic takes partial responsibility through a refund or compensation for damages, it cannot reverse the side effects that you ultimately have to live with for the rest of your life. Realistically, it cannot take responsibility for the patient’s life forever. In the end, irreversible cosmetic surgery side effects inevitably become entirely the patient’s burden.
When reviews about clinic side effects are posted on domestic websites or domestic apps, they can first be temporarily taken down if the clinic requests it. Countless posts praising cosmetic surgery pour in, but countless side-effect reviews are quickly hidden from consumers’ view. In the end, it becomes difficult for consumers to make rational choices based on sufficient information. Side effects cannot be reversed. For those considering or deciding on cosmetic surgery, I hope you keep in mind that the possibility of becoming the person affected by cosmetic surgery side effects is not low, and choose carefully. With that in mind, I am now writing this post about my surgical side effects and the clinic’s inadequate and absurd response.
I had under-eye fat repositioning + nanofat grafting for dark circles + anterior cheek fat grafting at xx Plastic Surgery near Sinsa Station. This surgery, known for its short operating time, inconspicuous scarring, and quick return to daily life, is absolutely not a simple surgery.

<Symptoms>
1. No sensation in half of my face. (Nerve damage.)
My upper lip, cheek, cheekbone area, and half of my nose have no sensation.
I think tingling and numbness are the right words to describe it.
Also, it is difficult to make various facial expressions naturally.
My face keeps feeling itchy, and I cannot tell whether I have a runny nose or whether something is on my face.
-The sensory symptoms are truly varied. (It feels itchy, then when I touch my cheekbone, I feel nerve sensation in my lip...)
2. After surgery, one under-eye area feels fixed and does not lift. (A fixed feeling under the eye, tightness)
(When I smile, one side is fixed downward and does not lift naturally.)
3. No effect on dark circles. (I requested before/after photos but could not see them.
They said photos are discarded once surgery is completed.)
▶▶▶▶▶ Clinic response and follow-up care
This is a clinic where it is really difficult to schedule follow-up progress checks with the director. (I had to send KakaoTalk messages or call several times.)
If there had been no abnormality in my face, I would have had no reason to contact them other than for swelling care.
It took about 9-10 months to finally have a follow-up check.
After the checkup, there were parts I could not understand, so I said I wanted another follow-up with my guardian, and they said it would be a violation of medical law.
They cited Article 21 of the Medical Service Act (records, access) and refused to schedule a follow-up with my guardian.
(Lawyer confirmed - absolutely not true. This is false guidance.)
When I asked them to give my guardian the same explanation that it would be a violation of medical law,
they said they had no obligation to speak with my guardian.
After that, there are long stories, but I will omit them.

As posts get temporarily taken down,
side-effect reviews are effectively difficult for consumers to see, making it hard to make the right choice.
