Before <before surgery>Before <before surgery>Before <immediately after surgery>Before <1 month after surgery>Before <1 month after surgery>I usually thought my nasal bridge was fine, but the nasal tip? between the nose and the nostrils?? looked very bulbous, and I was concerned that it looked broad, so I looked into nasal cartilage suturing. There weren’t many places that did it, and most of the reviews seemed to be for one clinic, so after getting recommendations for Director Cheon Jae-hyun from several good reviews, I decided to have the surgery.
Pain: After the surgery, you have to keep the tape on until about day 3. There was a stinging, sharp pain at the nasal tip. For about 1 week after surgery, the nasal tip felt numb and tight. Other people couldn’t really tell that I had surgery, but the nasal tip did look slightly pinched, so the older sister I live with could tell I had surgery? But as they said, taking the tape off and going to work was no problem at all.. That’s the biggest advantage lol
Stitches: I live outside Seoul, so if I want to go to Gangnam, I basically have to set the date almost a month in advance, or I can’t even visit at all. So I paid the deposit in advance and went in planning to have surgery on the same day as the consultation. They said the stitches didn’t need to be removed separately, and for follow-up checks, you just take photos and send them via KakaoTalk, they check them, and reply via KakaoTalk. I liked that follow-up was handled that way.
Cost: I applied for the nasal tip cartilage suturing event, but they didn’t charge only the event price. There were additional costs for extra cartilage suturing and dermal grafting. I had roughly looked up the surgery cost beforehand, and under the condition that I provide photos, they matched it to about 1.8 million KRW.
After laser removal of the central fat and fibrous tissue, I also had MegaDerm added to the nasal tip. After surgery, the nasal bulb had already decreased by 2 mm on each side. A 6 mm dermal graft makes the before-and-after look much more dramatic, and for reviews where the results turned out really pretty, I definitely recommend making the dermis height high...
That clinic seems to specialize in cartilage suturing? In this community, the opinions were somewhat split half and half, so I was a bit worried, but there aren’t other places doing the exact same surgery. They also don’t force you? to write a review separately, so reviews are a bit hard to find. But if you search cafes or apps a bit, I think it’s recommendable for people who are worried about the recovery period.
