Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> Hello! It has already been well over a month since my first eye surgery, so I’m leaving a review too. The hospital where I had surgery was a private clinic in Sinnonhyeon. Since this was my first surgery, I got a lot of help when visiting clinics and looking up information, so I’m writing this in the hope that my post may help someone too :)
I originally lived thinking plastic surgery would never be part of my life. I had inner double eyelids close to monolids, but my eyes weren’t small, so I was fairly satisfied with them. But as I got older, the fat on my upper eyelids decreased, and whenever I was tired, bold double eyelid folds started forming. And it kept happening more often?;; I felt like I shouldn’t let them settle like that, so I started going around for consultations.
What I wanted was: 1. Absolutely as natural as possible 2. My impression should not change much from my current face 3. Non-incisional surgery in case of any unexpected situation 4. A private clinic because large hospitals vaguely scared me

I had no fat and my skin was on the thin side, so everyone recommended non-incisional surgery, which meant the surgical method wasn’t the issue. The issue was the line. No matter how naturally they said they would make it, the eyes felt extremely overwhelming to me. So I just let time pass vaguely, wondering if I should just live like this.. and when that thought came to mind, I went for a consultation at the clinic where I ended up having surgery. Even during the consultation with the director, my mind was already leaning toward “should I just stay as I am,” so I think I asked the same questions I had asked at other clinics and received the consultation almost absentmindedly. Then when I came out and had the consultation with the consultant, she suddenly said, “It seems like the line you want is not a women’s inline double eyelid, but a men’s inner double eyelid line.” At first I was taken aback. If you just say it’s a men’s line, it sounds like it would make the impression look stronger, right? But when I saw the example photos she showed me, they had exactly the feeling I wanted. Natural, somehow clearer, but with an image that didn’t change drastically!! So during the second line consultation with the director, I explained that part, and he marked the line again. Then I thought, ah, this is it. So I proceeded with surgery at this clinic right away.
Originally I was only going to get non-incisional double eyelid surgery, but on the morning of the surgery I impulsively got epicanthoplasty too lol. In conclusion, everyone around me says I did well! Originally, everyone around me had tried to stop me. But now everyone’s reaction is, “Double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty can look this natural?”
These days many people get surgery for clear, large eyes, but I think there may also be people like me who want women’s inner double eyelids or natural inner double eyelid surgery. Large eyes are pretty, but the eyes that suit your own face are the best. But when I looked into it, information on women’s inner double eyelids was really hard to find.. so I’m leaving this post in case there are people with needs like mine, hoping it helps. If there are changes later, I’ll leave a follow-up post!
