Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Review after 3 years and a few months since removal

I had something else to look into, so I came into this community and stopped by the removal forum, which I couldn't just pass by because it has all my joys, anger, sorrow, and happiness. It feels like a lot has changed in the meantime and like I'm supposed to write informally, but it feels so awkward that my tone feels like a robot.. I feel like I've become a robot! Should I write like this? haha Anyway, when I was looking into removal, I remember being really curious whether people who had removal a long time ago were doing well, so I'm writing to say that I'm doing well.

Well, I wrote in a lot of detail in my previous posts about the old condition of my nose and all that, and now I don't even know as much in detail as I did then.

The purpose of this post is to say that I'm doing well now. And strangely, when I look at photos, 2 years later and 3 years later are different again? As with a surgically done nose, it's a subtle difference, but I wonder if even this was residual swelling. By now, hasn't all the residual swelling really gone down?!!! I was stressed because my nose looked blunt after losing the slimness of the surgically done nose, but now a big change is that I like my current nose better. At this level, my nose is round and cute. Honestly, this nose suits me better, so I feel somewhat satisfied?

Excluding people who are removing it because they don't like their surgically done nose. For people who don't want removal but have no choice but to remove it, I think the few months after removal, when you suddenly lose the slimness and defined height of the surgically done nose, may be the most emotionally up-and-down and difficult period. From my personal experience, at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, it gradually feels like something gets better? Of course, only to a degree that I notice. And after removing it, when I look at other people's noses, rather than whether they're pretty or not, the first thing that catches my eye is whether it looks obviously operated on or natural. They say you only see what you're focused on, and I wonder if that's true. Like, it seems they had surgery a while ago and the skin got thin, so the silicone shows through a lot.. that kind of thing? hahaha Or, ah, the nasal tip seems a bit upturned,,, things like that hahaha Ah, I really don't want to think like that, but what can I do when it catches my eyeㅜㅜ My eyes have become ones that see naturalness as the prettiest rather than perfection. And sometimes there are posts about celebrities too, like their previous nose was pretty, so why did they do their nose again and become less pretty. At times like that, I also think, wait, that celebrity might not have had revision surgery because they wanted to either.

Anyway, of course! Selfies? It's true they come out much worse than before, and if your nose is defined even without makeup, that feeling where the whole face somehow looks slimmer and more refined does disappear. But even so, there are its own advantages. Mentally, there is really no need to even say it, and externally too, there are advantages.

If you're not a celebrity or influencer who makes a living from your face, you can absolutely be happy, so I hope everyone recovering after removal thinks only good thoughts.

Early on during recovery, when you feel like maybe you regret it? Like you want to put something back in again? If you come into the removal forum once, it has the effect of making your breath catch and making those feelings disappear completely.

Phew, even now, seeing posts from so many people worrying here reminds me of that time and makes me shake my head.. I never want to go through it again. I'm someone who didn't just have my nose done but had quite a few things touched, and when I used to go to plastic surgery clinics, I always went to consultations and had surgeries with a mix of a little excitement, expectation, and anxiety. But when I was looking into surgery for removal, having the surgery, and recovering, it felt completely different, and it was truly a hardship I never want to go through again.

Anyway, there is someone here living well even after several years have passed, so I hope everyone finds strength during recovery!
