Surgery for ptosis

I don't even remember the hospital name anymore. I have asymmetrical eyes and my eyes are small, so I asked the ophthalmologist whether I should get double-eyelid surgery, and he said it wasn't just a cosmetic issue but ptosis. Ptosis means the muscle that lifts the eyelid is weak, so when you open your eyes, you use your brow muscles to help lift them. Naturally, that creates wrinkles on the forehead... I really had surgery at the ophthalmology clinic someone casually referred me to without thinking at all. I didn't even think of it as plastic surgery... I thought I'd be under sleep anesthesia, but it was local anesthesia, and the anesthesia wore off quickly, so I remember it hurting a lot... Now I don't get forehead wrinkles anymore, but when I think about the cosmetic side, all I can think is that I was so young back then and didn't think about anything...
