My nose is short and small. I had revision surgery in January 2020, and because of the cartilage showing through at the nose tip, slight contracture, and redness when my condition isn’t good, I’m planning a third surgery. There are less than 4 weeks left until the surgery now, and the doctor says they’ll cover the visible area with artificial dermis.. Is artificial dermis okay?? When I asked during the consultation why they use artificial dermis instead of autologous dermis, they said that since they’re using autologous rib cartilage, harvesting autologous dermis too would probably be too hard on me.. If anyone knows about this, please leave a comment ㅠㅠ!!

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
