Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

8 months after complete nose implant removal, it feels like it’s contracting again...

I had rhinoplasty with silicone and Medpor, and in my 7th year I developed contracture, so I had everything completely removed. After surgery, the contracture loosened well and my nostrils also came down nicely. (Now, maybe including some psychological factors, I look in the mirror too much, so it feels like my nostrils are more visible.) A contraction phase came around weeks 2-4, and from month 4 it gradually went away, so I felt relieved and lived without worrying too much about my nose.

I had the complete removal in mid-July 2022, and now I’m at 8 months. But since about a week ago, I’ve been feeling like my nose is contracting...ㅠㅠ I’m mentally breaking down

When I looked it up, there were people like me, and when I contacted the clinic, they said it varies by person, but since it was revision surgery, for about a year I may feel contraction depending on my condition or tissue characteristics. (What if it’s still like this after a year?)

If anyone is like me, let’s shareㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Additional) This reminded me once again, but I really think I did the right thing by having everything completely removed. If I had only removed the silicone out of greed or anxiety, or slightly manipulated the nasal tip, I would probably be much more anxious than I am now... At least because I had everything completely removed, I’m less anxiousㅎㅎ
