As soon as they saw my nose, they showed me non-implant cases similar to my nose and what I wanted, then broke down and explained what surgeries those people had. They explained that the side effects of this procedure are like this, and if you compensate for this like that and operate this way, this gets solved in this way. They even showed photos of side effects, so it felt very trustworthy. They also looked with an endoscope and showed the CT all the way from the very back to the very front, and also from bottom to top, explaining where there were no issues and where the problems were, so I really trusted them. I almost booked right away if I wasn’t careful... But how should I put it, they explain in a very detailed and trustworthy way, but the parts they recommended felt a bit excessive, so I got anxious.. They said my crooked nose ultimately looks more crooked because of nasal valve stenosis, and that nasal valve surgery is even more necessary to correct the crooked nose, not just for function. But other hospitals said this degree isn’t enough to need surgery and that my nasal valve is normal, so I was a bit like, huh? -ㅂㅇㅇ It’s that private clinic with the patented surgery. I guess consultations are a hassle for them. They’re unfriendly while smiling... You know what I mean? That feeling of smiling but clearly not wanting to answer, with no soul in it. As soon as I went in, they just showed me one CT cross-section and said, “Don’t do functional rhinoplasty. There’s no problem,” so I asked, “Don’t do it at all?” and they said, “I said there’s no problem, didn’t I? No point. Okay, next!” and moved on... Huh... If they’re going to look at it like an X-ray, why even take a CT...? And when I said my concerns were my crooked nose and hump, they said I could just shave the hump and do the nasal tip, and that nothing could be done about the crooked nose, that it can’t be changed, so I should just live with it lol ...? If that’s the case, why would I get rhinoplasty..? I guess they just don’t want to do anything outside the factory-style copy-paste surgical method they use...... I was really dumbfounded. They said that after shaving the hump, placing a thin layer of silicone would give a more semi-natural and pretty line, and that without silicone, I might not get the smoothness typical of a surgically enhanced nose. They asked if I was okay with that, so I said I was okay and wanted to leave out silicone. They immediately accepted it and said, okay, then let’s leave out silicone. For the nasal tip too, they said my tip has a strong presence, so ear cartilage might be weak, and if I wanted a semi-natural style, donated rib cartilage would be better for my nose’s characteristics. I said I didn’t want that either.. lol When I asked if there was any way with ear cartilage, they said it would look natural and asked if I was okay with that. They said it wasn’t impossible, but with ear cartilage, given my nose’s characteristics, the difficulty would go up and the surgery time would be longer. So I said, even so, please make it as fancy as possible within the limits of ear cartilage. They said okay, and if I feel anxious, ear cartilage is better than donated rib cartilage, and they would do the maximum with ear cartilage.
