Petit Procedure Reviews

Eyeliner Removal

I’m planning to have revision surgery for posterior double eyelids, so I first had my existing semi-permanent eyeliner removed. I had it done at a hospital in Dogok-dong that’s fairly well known for semi-permanent makeup removal. I had the first session in November 2022 and finished the second session in January 2023. First of all, the anesthesia during the procedure does hurt, but when I had semi-permanent eyeliner done, it hurt so much that I felt the anesthesia was bearable since I only had to endure it briefly. And the eyeliner... hmm... it’s not completely gone, but now that I’ve had two sessions, it has been removed pretty well overall. But there’s a problem Around the line where the eyeliner was removed and the inner corner area of my eye, there’s a brown discoloration spreading like hyperpigmentation. Only on my right eye. It’s not that the eyeliner has spread... At first I thought maybe a bruise just hadn’t gone away... but since it’s been like this for 4 months now, it doesn’t seem like a bruise either... This is really a difficult situation. When I went for the second session, I told the doctor about the inner corner area that looked brown, and they said it wasn’t eyeliner spreading and that they would treat just that area again with a different laser.... The result is that it got darker.. After the second session, brown areas that look like bruising also appeared around the line. It’s hard to find cases similar to mine, so I’m planning to go to another well-known laser clinic around next week. If anyone has had a similar case, please leave a comment.
