Hello. I went around to a few places while doing consultation visits, so I’m writing this to share. A lot of it feels like notes I wrote for myself, so I’ll try to organize it as I post. I mainly went around Gangnam/Apgujeong, and since I went for about 3 to 4 days, the consultation times usually ranged from 30 minutes if short to up to 3 hours if long.
My friend and I, two people, went for consultations. Eye condition: Person 1 - developed multiple double-eyelid folds, sagging, sleepy-looking eyes not fixed / Person 2 - has double eyelids but they are faint (like inner double eyelids), sleepy-looking eyes Status: Person 1 - first revision surgery for double eyelids only / Person 2 - first-timer Goal: Person 1 - get rid of multiple double-eyelid folds + canthoplasty / Person 2 - double-eyelid surgery + canthoplasty Please keep that in mind while reading, thank you. Since these are organized from each of our notes, the reviews from Person 1 and Person 2 are full of very personal opinions.
[[ ㅇㄱㅈ ㅅㅎㅇㄱ ]] Consultant > Director > Consultant Person 1 Canthoplasty possible / Doctor was full of confidence Mentioned forehead lift The counter was funny, consultation was long (3 hours) Put down a deposit Took photos Eyes 3.05 million won, forehead lift 2.5 million won (they also looked at my nose, which was 3.3 million won)
Person 2 Consultation with the consultant was a bit long Director was very confident Mentioned forehead lift but did not recommend it Said incision wasn’t necessary, and that I should do buried-suture double eyelid + a little epicanthoplasty, and I think they said they would adjust the canthoplasty as I wanted. It seemed to come out in the high 1 million to 2 million won range Put down a 50,000 won deposit.. Took photos, there is someone I know who had it done there, it’s been a long time and it’s famous Estimate- Eyes only 1.85 million - buried-suture double-eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, fat removal, lateral canthoplasty (forehead lift 2.5 million)
[[ ㄱㄹ ]] Consultant > Director > Consultant Person 1 They forgot our consultation, ha... (we waited a bit) Recommended forehead lift The way they designed the line wasn’t bad... Epicanthoplasty 700,000 + double eyelids 1.5 million + ptosis correction -> 2.2 million (full face reveal) They said lateral + lower canthoplasty have to be done together and it would make me look weepy, so not great
Person 2 Consultation with consultant was short Recommended forehead lift, waited an hour Said lateral canthoplasty only / lower canthoplasty only is not possible, and that both must be done; they said it would make me look like a droopy dog, so did not recommend it. No talk of putting down a deposit
[[ ㅇㅇ ]] Consultant > Director > Consultant Person 1 Consultant’s consultation was clean and efficient Doctor felt somewhat professional Said the double-eyelid line would be maintained or lowered slightly Double eyelids 3 million, epicanthoplasty 550,000, lateral canthoplasty 550,000, ptosis correction > 4.1 million
Person 2 Consultations with both consultant and director were short Director seemed somewhat professional about atopy / different eye-opening strength Immediately noticed whether Person 1 had double-eyelid surgery Said partial incision would be useless and told me to just do incision Said my eye-opening strength differs, so my eyes are uneven and I need ptosis correction Did not recommend lateral canthoplasty because the back of my eye is short, so there would be no effect Told me to do epicanthoplasty / double-eyelid surgery / ptosis correction
[[ ㅃㄹ ]] Person 1 Doctor > consultant consultation Did not recommend lateral canthoplasty (said epicanthoplasty alone would probably make the eyes big enough) Said the double-eyelid line would probably lower a bit Told me to do a forehead lift later (not forced / just said to do it later while consulting about my drooping outer eye corners) Said that thing at the front of the eye might show a little Double eyelids 1.76 million, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty 440,000 > 2.2 million (2 million if I go within March) // said they would do Botox or contour injections There is swelling treatment. Scar-treatment laser possible later after 6 months AS if it comes undone within 1 year
Person 2 Did not recommend lateral canthoplasty. Said to do a lot of epicanthoplasty. Told me the double-eyelid line would not be set very high / 1.43 million won (1.3 million won if within March)
And besides these places, I also went to ㅂ/ㅍㄻㅇ/ㄴㄴ/ㅈㅇㅈㅇ, but I’ll continue writing in Part 2..
