First of all, I went to a total of 4 places in Busan today, and I've already decided. I was planning to go to Seoul too, but after getting consultations in Busan first, I felt there was no need to go out of my way.. I'm planning to cancel my appointment next Monday.. Oh, and honestly, I didn't really ask much. I was mainly wondering whether the line toward the outer end of my eye could be raised more from here, or whether surgery on only one eye was possible, so I mostly listened to what the doctors said without asking much.
Also, with this degree, everyone basically had the opinion of, why even do surgery.. For reference, based on the consultation results, they recommended surgery on only one eye, so I'm planning to do only one eye.
1. ㅈㅇㅊ Plastic Surgery Clinic (near Kyungsung University) - told me not to do it The director did the consultation. I went at 2:30 and got the first appointment. (After that, more people came, and appointments were delayed by an hour because of surgery.) Here, you have to go in person to make appointments only from 10 to 12 and from 3 to 5. Anyway, I got rejected here too. Honestly, I wasn't getting surgery because my eyes looked strange or anything; it was because there was a double line on my right eye that remained like a scar.. I went in for eye surgery, but they told me not to do it, and even if other doctors tell me to, they said not to. Then they recommended chin Botox, so I just ignored it and left.
2. ㅇㅇㅂ Plastic Surgery Clinic (Seomyeon) - recommended partial incision This place is already well known as an eye-specialty clinic, and everyone said it was good, so I went. The director explained things carefully and well, and recommended a partial incision. I had a partial incision the first time too, and I had already had ptosis correction, so lately when I open my right eye, my forehead feels slightly sore and pulled. Even my left brow bone hurt, so I mentioned it. They said my eyes have very little space between the eyebrows and eyes, and my sunken eyes are severe, so there is no space to work with. They also said they provide 2 years of aftercare, and they explained in advance that they would handle scars and related issues afterward, so I liked that.
3. ㅇㅇㄹㄷ Plastic Surgery Clinic (Seomyeon) - recommended incision This is a place I learned about through a community and went to because people said it was famous, and when I looked up blog reviews, everyone's surgeries seemed to have turned out well. So I added it to my list, but the doctor felt like they were trying to reflect my opinions, and that consultation style didn't really suit me. I wanted the doctor's opinion, but it felt a bit like, tell me what you want. But even after I said what I wanted, they were kind of like everything is possible, but even now my eyes look a bit sleepy, and if I do it, I should do both, but because the eye lines are different from each other, they will still be different, so both sides need to be done together, that kind of thing. So I just mentally ruled this place out.. (But they tried out the most lines, and checked things like eye-opening strength very professionally, so I recommend it for everyone who thinks that kind of assessment is important.)
3. ㅂㅌㅇㅇ Plastic Surgery Clinic (Seomyeon) - recommended incision Here, the doctor seemed kind of kind. This place also specializes in eyes and recommended surgery on only one eye. The surgery cost was the cheapest, but somehow I felt ㅇㅇㅂ had the best aftercare, so I decided on ㅇㅇㅂ.
I'm going to call tomorrow and set the surgery date.
For reference, I'm uploading photos of my eyes now too. On one side, the line at the outer end of the eye droops and there is a wound. (It formed because the double-eyelid line is broken like a scar.) People say I don't need to do everything, and that this much is fine, but the asymmetry is too noticeable ㅠㅠㅠ (to me) I'm just going to do it this time... I hope this helps.
