These days I’m touring clinics for eye revision surgery. I’ve been going around the Gangnam area. As you know, it’s broadly divided into three areas: Sinsa, Apgujeong, and Gangnam Station. Among them, I visited two places near Gangnam Station in one day. But maybe that day was just a strange day.. I had an experience I’d never had during previous consultations. They were all eye-specialty clinics and single-doctor clinics.
1. After registering, I had a consultation with the counseling manager 10 minutes later. The counseling manager asked much more detailed questions compared with other places. After looking at my condition, she came to her own conclusion haha, like it might be difficult? Something like that... (The director seems on the younger side, judging by the photos on the homepage.) Then she said the director had gone into surgery and told me to wait 45 minutes. I thought, this must be a place where the director isn’t capable enough ㅠㅠ
2. I went to the building next door because I had a reservation right away. There were about 3 people waiting here too? Around that many? It was 5:30 p.m., and I thought that was quite a lot. I registered and waited 15 minutes... I had a consultation with the counseling manager, and this manager looked like she’d had a lot of plastic surgery herself. Anyway, here too, she said I needed to do as many as 3 things... I already had ptosis correction, incision, and fat grafting, but she said I had to do them again... She wrote it on the chart herself lol Then she came out and told me to wait again. Usually, in that case, the director comes within 10 minutes, right? Anywhere... But after waiting about 10 minutes (it had been almost 40 minutes since I arrived at the clinic), they said the director had gone into surgery and told me to wait 1 hour.. I mean, wasn’t the appointment with the customer made during a time without surgery...? If they’re going into surgery, they should tell people not to come.. For me, clinics like this are all out no matter how skilled they are.
