There was a hospital where I first had posterior canthoplasty, but it closed back up within a year. So I had revision surgery at another hospital, and although it closed up more than at first, even after a lot of time passed, it didn’t close up completely. However, maybe because they opened it a lot, I do have some scarring. But it might also be because I smoked right after the surgery back then. Or it could be because it was revision surgery. Posterior canthoplasty is the only cosmetic surgery I’ve had so far that I don’t regret..
