I already have thick double eyelids, but my eyebrows and eyelids have drooped a lot, so my double eyelids got thinner and the double eyelids on both sides look uneven. At first, I was also considering a forehead lift and sub-brow lift, so I went around to places famous for those, but as I kept going around, they said I only needed double eyelid surgery. Since it would be double eyelid surgery on droopy eyelids, I heard that the line might not come out well, so rather than just choosing a hospital, I looked for a doctor who seemed like a good fit for me and who seemed meticulous enough to carefully check the line and height, even if it was just a simple buried-suture method haha
1. ㄹㅂㄹㅇ / no consultation fee I asked about a lift or sub-brow lift. I went early, so the wait was short, and the consultant only checked roughly what I wanted. The director came in right away and said I didn’t need a lift, and that it was still too early for a sub-brow lift too. Since my skin is thin, they recommended that I only do buried-suture double eyelid surgery, and said that even a simple procedure could have a good effect rather than doing something excessive. They drew the line and the consultation was short and to the point. Cool and straightforward.
2. ㅊㄷㅇ / no consultation fee There were quite a lot of people waiting, but it still went quickly. As expected, they said there was no need for a lift or sub-brow lift and recommended the buried-suture method. They said I’m still young and that this degree isn’t even considered drooping ㅠㅠ The consultant was really kind too, but the director was genuinely so good haha I went after reading reviews, so I expected it, but they seemed even kinder, warmer, and more meticulous. I’m shy and usually can’t speak well, but here I asked a lot of different questions. They somehow have a charm that makes you feel comfortable lol Even while saying I only needed the buried-suture method, they kept drawing and checking the line, carefully made the line thickness I wanted several times, showed me how the line looked, and kept matching it with me, asking how this degree seemed. They explained everything very kindly too. They had a bright personality and talked at length about various things, so it was easy to understand.
3. ㄷㅇㅇ / no consultation fee They said the uneven double eyelids could be matched with the buried-suture method. I said I wanted to raise the line more, but they said that wouldn’t be good. I wanted to see the line they drew, but they looked at it alone and said no haha, very cool and detached. Then during the consultant’s consultation, the consultant suddenly said I also had to do ptosis correction, saying the director had said so. I hadn’t heard that during the director’s consultation, but they suddenly brought up ptosis correction. Since I hadn’t even been thinking about ptosis correction, I showed a bit that I disliked it, and I did feel slightly pressured haha And even though I went to many more consultations after that, only this place recommended ptosis correction. My pupils are barely covered, if anything I’m at the point where I’d need circle lenses lol Since the price was different, I asked about the event conditions, but they vaguely said something like it was because the whole face had to be disclosed~ and trailed off, avoiding the answer without saying clearly whether it was possible or not haha Anyway, I had applied for the event and went, but the buried-suture price came out twice as high, and with ptosis correction added, the total estimate was the most expensive lol It felt uncomfortable. The hospital reviews seemed good, but the people who would do my eyes didn’t match well with me, so I passed.
4. ㅇㅅㅇㅊ / no consultation fee The consultant, all the staff, and even the director were extremely kind. They recommended buried-suture double eyelid surgery. I said I wanted to draw the line higher, and they said that since it was already quite high, raising it more would be possible, but it could look less natural and more glamorous. Still, they said that would probably look pretty too. They explained everything and left the choice up to me. They seemed more famous for something other than double eyelids. I’m debating because there aren’t reviews.
5. ㅍ / no consultation fee The consultant was very kind. They first explained the surgical method, aftercare, and so on, so I just listened, and the explanation was detailed. For this place, rather than the hospital reviews, the doctor I picked had fewer reviews than other directors, but I picked them after looking at the personality and surgical style written in the reviews. I felt the review photos wouldn’t all apply to my eyes, so I only checked whether the lines were clean. Personally, I’m of the opinion that the director who performs the surgery is important, so I went for a consultation after reading the reviews, and as expected, the director was good. They said natural adhesion alone would be enough, drew the line raised the way I wanted, showed it to me clearly, and kept asking if this degree was okay. They kindly and calmly talked me through things, carefully understood what I wanted, and their personality seemed meticulous, so I liked them haha I honestly hadn’t considered a large clinic at all, and I only stopped by while continuing to consultation-hop because I was worried about raising the line. I didn’t expect much, but the feeling during the visit was better than I expected. I had applied for events only at ㄷㅇㅇ and here, and here they first explained the event conditions in detail and said the same price was possible. It was the cheapest.
6. ㅇㅇㅇ / no consultation fee They were busy and everyone was kind, but maybe because the director was busy, they quickly drew a buried-suture line, and somehow I couldn’t ask questions either, so it ended quickly.
