After looking at the reviews for ㅋㄹㅁ, I really liked the polished-but-natural vibe, so I had high expectations and went through the pouring rain yesterdayㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I praise myself for my determination to get double eyelid surgery....
First of all, when you enter the clinic, it’s very quiet.. Usually they at least play some music softly, and I don’t know if it was just turned off that day, but it was so quiet that even I felt like I had to calm downㅋㅋ
Consultation order: consultant (briefly checking my needs) → director → consultant (summary of surgical details and cost information)
Recommended surgical method: incisional double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty My right side had already come undone twice, so I was also thinking about an incision, and the director said incision would probably be better. They explained the way natural adhesion and incision adhere in a way that was easy to understand, and since the front line of my right eye is floating like a semi-out line, they said it would be good to do an upper epicanthoplasty at the front of the eyes as well so both sides can be matched as in-out lines. During the consultation with the consultant, she said I might need ptosis correction, but the director said not to do ptosis correction in particular, and that just removing a bit of sagging skin during surgery and doing upper epicanthoplasty would likely make the line and overall facial harmony fit well. I think this is exactly how expert and non-expert analysis differs, yep.
For postoperative care, they provide unlimited swelling laser treatments for 20 minutes each time I visit the clinic, and if there is a problem with scar tissue, they also provide scar tissue injections as a service, so they said I can comfortably contact the clinic to make a reservation.
The consultant didn’t force me to book separately, but she said there is a discount if I decide the same day, so there was a bit of a feeling that they were trying to encourage a same-day decision as much as possible, though it didn’t feel uncomfortable! And they showed cases most similar to my eyes while explaining the surgical method, which made it easy to understand, and overall it seemed like they try to make it easy for the person receiving the consultation to understand.
If there was a disappointing point, the consultation with the director was very short!! Maybe because they don’t try many different lines, but if you don’t have questions for the director, it takes less than 5 minutesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Everyone from out of town, if you want to go, maybe book it as your last appointment before going home... As soon as the director saw me, they said, let’s do an incision! Then they held a line to show how it would look and asked if I had any other questions, so I actually brought up the floating front line on the right side first, and that’s how upper epicanthoplasty came up... Also, personally, I didn’t like that they used a toothpick to hold the line ㅜㅜ
Overall, from arrival to consultant consultation, director consultation, and consultant consultation, it only took about 20 minutes total, so there was basically no waiting, but ah!!! I absolutely have to do it here!! It wasn’t enough to make me feel that way~
