They said my natural septum is short, and my nose is soft and gets compressed easily.. On top of that, I don’t have much ear cartilage either, so they said it would only be possible if they used cartilage from both ears and costal cartilage too. It feels like it would become such a major surgery, so I feel devastated..
If anyone here has had nose surgery with a short septum like me, or used ear cartilage plus autologous costal cartilage, could you give me some advice?
I heard it hurts a lot when they harvest autologous costal cartilage, so I’m scared....
