I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with entropion, where the eyelashes are curled inward toward the eye. They said it wasn’t severe, so I could choose whether or not to have surgery. But having to keep plucking my eyelashes was annoying and painful, so I decided to just have the surgery and scheduled a date. The surgery was done under local anesthesia and took about 1 hour. After the surgery, I was prescribed antibiotic eye ointment, painkillers, and so on. The doctor removed the stitches after one week, and they gave me scar ointment, so I’m applying it consistently. The surgical scar is still there, but the incision was made close to the eyelashes, so I don’t think it bothers me that much.
