Before before after after after It has been 3 months since my hump nose surgery Used septal cartilage and ear cartilage (support strut), used 3 mm silicone <My original nose> Hump nose, skin that does not stretch well, thin and small nose Dragon nose (a nose where the nostrils look triangular and are clearly visible) Nasal bridge and nostril asymmetry <Consultation review> An acquaintance recommended the clinic, saying they design noses to match current trends, so I went for a consultation When you first enter the clinic, it is not all-white interior, which I really liked; it felt less uncomfortable (the info desk staff were angels) First I had a consultation with the consultant, then immediately had a consultation with the director He pointed out the shortcomings of my nose and told me what could be improved and what the good points were The price was also reasonable, so I decided to have the surgery When I showed the photos I wanted, he said he could do it, that he would match it as much as possible, and told me not to worry; the trust he gave me was a big reason I chose the clinic <Surgery review> I will explain roughly in order - Before surgery I had several tests in advance, like blood tests and an ECG The testing device attached to my upper body kept coming off because I was skinny; thin people should be careful - On the day of surgery I changed clothes, washed my face, and gargled I went to the operating room, got an injection, and as soon as anesthesia started, I fell asleep within 3 seconds They woke me up, so I barely got up and moved to the recovery room. My nose did not hurt, but because of the intubation my throat hurt a lot and was dry. Maybe because the anesthesia had not fully worn off, I was sleepy and dizzy, and they would not let me go home unless I went to the bathroom (they told me not to drink water right after surgery!! Actually I drank some, sorry teacher) On the first day, after all the anesthesia wore off, it hurt when I went home and slept, so I recommend taking Tylenol - Day 1 and Day 2 When sleeping, it really hurt. But during the day it was okay. Also, blood kept coming nonstop from my nose. It was hard to eat because I could not open my mouth well, so I ate porridge. Until the second day, I think Tylenol before bed is essential... If you sneeze or cough, it is unbearable - From Day 3 to Week 1 From the third day, I slowly started feeling like I could live. I went out for walks and moved around a lot. The nose pain was less, so I did warm compresses often. The day they removed the cotton was heaven. Once the cotton is removed, it becomes possible to eat more comfortably. The day the stitches were removed, it hurt so much that I wondered if they were pinching and ripping off my skin. But I let my guard down, and the splint hurt more. Splint removal is very painful. When I laughed, I had no facial expression. Partly because I was swollen and partly because it hurt, I laughed only with sound and no expression. My friends were scared. I did not bruise. Almost only if you looked very closely, it looked slightly yellow - 1 month I was very swollen (actually, it did not look that swollen, but even now the swelling keeps going down). Because they did osteotomy on the hump, I had a bruise in the middle of my nose. I think it lasted about a month. I could not wash my face properly, so I had a lot of dead skin, and makeup did not apply well. Even tapping with a puff hurt, and makeup did not sit well. Sometimes I had a stinging, painful sensation at the nasal tip. Yellow discharge-like scabs, blood scabs, bloody pus, things like that often came out of my nose. Sneezing was legendary, but they said there was no problem - 2 months Not a perfect recovery, but there was no major discomfort in daily life. However, I still could not do makeup by tapping hard, blow my nose, or rub my nose while washing my face. No pain! I often look at my nose, and I still feel like the swelling is continuing to go down - 3 months There is still a bit of a bothersome feeling. How should I put it, when I wear glasses, I feel, ah, this is a surgically operated nose. If I bump it, it still hurts a bit. As the swelling went down, my nose became thinner. Also, after getting my nose done, people look at noses more, so I often end up pointing out the flaws in my own nose. The asymmetry improved a lot compared to before, but after nose surgery, people might say, why is your nose crooked even though you had surgery? As the swelling goes down, the nasal bridge itself comes down a bit, which you may be dissatisfied with. However, I personally am satisfied. After about three months, I no longer live while paying much attention to the fact that I had surgery. However, I do pay much more attention than before from time to time so I do not get injured. There is no issue with makeup. It does not hurt even if I press with a puff. Makeup applies well *Other precautions When you go for checkups, the director presses on your nose to check it, and it hurts very much There are no swelling injections or lasers in the clinic’s post-surgery care I did get antibiotic injections. But the swelling went down well on its own “Satisfaction after surgery” My nose turned out well enough that I brag about having surgery and promote the clinic. I am receiving a lot of praise from people around me. I like the design, I have had no side effects so far, and daily life is not uncomfortable. I also got into the habit of taking selfies with the regular camera. I feel like my self-esteem has gone up too. Maybe because I am satisfied after surgery, I no longer hide the fact that I had surgery, and I think I end up recommending it to people around me
