First, my nose is a nose that would turn out very well if I had surgery. It’s the textbook kind that often improves with bulbous-nose correction. My case is so rare that it only comes up a few times a year. The skin is moderately thin, and the alar cartilages are very well developed, but because they are spread out, it looks like a bulbous nose. They commonly said it was a Western-style nose.

Two options, including a no-implant option If doing no-implant surgery: tip (ear cartilage, septal cartilage), cartilage reduction, cartilage suturing, cartilage repositioning. For the bridge hump, they crush ear cartilage and fill it in. They reduce the columella. Price: 3.5 million (VAT included) CCTV available for verification. The director apparently personally applied for something related to CCTV with the Ministry of Health and Welfare or some agency this time. It felt like the attitude toward CCTV was that clinics should naturally disclose it to patients. I got the impression they look at patients very delicately and medically, not as a factory-style operation. ㅂㅇㅂ Here they recommend osteotomy. Other clinics said they would not recommend osteotomy, because the right septum is somewhat deviated and if you do osteotomy you might not breathe well, and it’s not that wide a bone anyway. Bridge: about 3 mm silicone; no-implant option is also not possible here Tip: septal cartilage, ear cartilage Bulbous nose correction, hump shaving, etc. Everything else is basically the same as other places except for osteotomy The post-op photos looked glamorous to me. Even Oh Yeon-seo’s nose looks glamorous. The director seemed a bit busy. They kept asking if I had any questions, but because they seemed busy, the consultation didn’t feel 100% complete. I’m looking for a doctor I can trust with my nose, and it felt like there wasn’t enough time to feel, “Yes, I can trust this person.” Still, they answered all my questions. ㅁㅌ First of all, I was so exhausted that I had very little motivation for the consultation. No CT scan (consultation fee 10,000 won) The clinic facilities looked worse than the others (not that they were bad, but the building itself was kind of... waiting for the elevator took forever, seriously) I had the consultation right after finishing surgery, and they honestly looked really tired. Their voice was completely hoarse and their eyes were bloodshot. While consulting with me, they kept closing their eyes from time to time while speaking, so I thought they were falling asleep. They told me very bluntly, exactly as I had expected from the start, what could and could not be done. No-implant surgery is possible here. Same as the others: tip, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, cartilage repositioning, suturing, etc. I don’t remember clearly. They said if you want the bones to look evenly aligned, get osteotomy. And this was the only place that mentioned alar reduction. For the other things, they said not to do alar reduction and that if you do it, you won’t be able to breathe well. They also said the reason the nose looks big is more because the alar cartilages are large than because the nostrils themselves are big. Four clinics said that. I wasn’t thinking about alar reduction at all either... I asked about nasolabial angle correction, and they advised against it because my midface is hollow, so it would look even more sunken. The price came out to 5.31 million won lol They did ask if I had any questions, but since I had already heard the same things from all the clinics, I had no questions, so it ended in under 5 minutes. Basically, the surgical items are almost the same as at other clinics, but some things recommended elsewhere were discouraged here, while some items were recommended here too, so I recommend going for consultations.
I went to consultations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.... my legs are freaking sore, so make sure to eat well in between meals... and I was relaxed because everything was clustered together and I didn’t have to wait long for consultations.
