I went with a friend to ㅂ for consultations about nose surgery and revision eye surgery.
The consultant set it up by saying Dr. ㅂㅎㅇ has a lot of pride, so it might feel like you’re getting scolded, but not to take it to heart. Then he said there are 150 methods he can do, but he’s so expensive that people can’t get surgery from him, so they end up having revision surgery 4-5 times, lose their nose, and then come to him. He said he has a technique that can make a surgically operated nose soft and flexible, and even if it gets bumped, there won’t be a problem. He said even if you want to get it done by him, it’s so expensive you’d have to sell your house, so I thought it must cost hundreds of millions. He said if you do it elsewhere, your nose will be ruined, inflamed, the nasal bridge will rise, and your nose won’t look like a human nose anymore. But if you want to come to him, you have to do it four or five times first, and when no one else can touch your nose, then he’ll do it. While talking, he said his rule is 30 minutes, that this wasn’t a consultation but education, and that 30 minutes is the rule. Even when I called him, he ignored me and just left... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I thought I’d been rejected for surgery? But I got an estimate from the consultant.
Dr. ㅎㅇㅌ was seriously so prickly that I couldn’t ask anything. Looking down on people seemed like his default attitude.
Anyway, at this place, if I say I’m unhappy with something after surgery, I feel like I’d be treated as the difficult patient.
