I had a consultation for revision eye surgery. During the consultation, they said skin excision would also be necessary and that all of the existing adhesions would need to be released, so overall the surgical scope felt quite large and a bit excessive. I had already had several consultations at other hospitals for the same incisional revision surgery, and many of them said skin excision or fully releasing the existing adhesions would not be necessary, so it made me think even more.
