Before/after First, as you can tell if you look at my previous post.. It was my first surgery using autologous costal cartilage, and I really did a lot of consultations,,
I got a lot of help from this community while preparing for surgery, and since this is a community that isn't part of the review conditions, I'll write honestly with a sincere heart
I used 4 mm silicone for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and had columella lowering and nasal tip cartilage tying!
Reasons I chose this place: 1. The reason for using autologous costal cartilage (I guess deep down I wanted to avoid using septal cartilage) 2. I liked the postoperative photos 3. The director was kind and explained things in detail 4. No excessive surgery × (At other places, some mentioned nasolabial angle surgery, columella surgery, and nostril reduction, and because I have a bulbous nose they told me to do nasal tip tying and remove fat from the nasal tip too, but here they said fat removal wasn't necessary and that the nasolabial angle would be corrected as the nasal tip was raised, so I shouldn't do it unnecessarily)
So I did it here. It's only just been a little over 2 weeks, but so far I'm satisfied. Maybe they sutured the columella really carefully, because there's almost no scar and it's smooth
I think there's still a little swelling in the nasal tip and bridge, but they said it can go down even up to 6 months, so I'm waiting
I also did full-face fat grafting, and my forehead turned out insanely well. The rest is just so-so, maybe because it's the first round.. Under the eyes are still disappointing. I really highly recommend forehead fat grafting I originally have a protruding forehead, but the middle is slightly sunken, so it must have been hard to adjust and inject it, but they did it insanely well ㅇㅇ Right now it's plump,, considering it will go down, I'm satisfied
Anyway, for now I'm satisfied with my nose. There's no asymmetry, and the line is good. Also, seeing that there are no problems so far, I guess there weren't any problems in the operating room From now on, whether side effects happen depends on my care, right...?
Autologous costal cartilage really hurt like crazy at first, but after a week? there was no pain anymore. No matter how I think about it, I'm proud of myself for choosing autologous costal cartilage instead of using septal cartilage for my first surgery,, I think I would've regretted it if I'd used ear cartilage + septal cartilage + donated costal cartilageㅠㅠ
One disappointing point is that viewing the CCTV costs an extra 100,000 won...ㅠ I was kind of like, huh...? But when I asked to see it, the consultant showed me everything really thoroughly;; But it was so embarrassingㅋㅋㅜㅜ I couldn't watch it
Week 2 is done!!! I'll take even better care from now on.. When the nose swelling goes down more and more, I'll write another review,,
+Additional note, hospital information and price information can be inferred if you look through my posts a little, so I won't reply separately in the comments.. And the number of millimeters inserted and what materials were used are written above...? Please read it before commenting...ㅠㅠㅠ
