(Liposuction Injection Review) Has anyone had discoloration in the stretch-mark area on the lower belly after abdominal liposuction injections? (Swelling recovery / plateau / itchiness shared)

It’s been about a month now, after getting liposuction injections for my abdomen and love handles, so I wanted to share a realistic update and some things I’ve been worrying about lately haha Recovery is progressing differently from the early stage after the procedure, so has anyone experienced something similar?! First, the swelling that was puffing up my whole stomach in the early stage has now almost completely gone down! When I look in the mirror, the abdominal and love-handle lines are definitely much slimmer than before, and they’ve settled into a prettier shape. That said, my weight isn’t dropping like it did right after the procedure; these days it’s going down very slowly, so it feels like I’ve hit a slight weight plateau 😭 Every time I step on the scale, the numbers don’t feel dramatically different, which is a little frustrating, but I’m still trying to let go and look at the long term while seeing the swelling go down and the lines improve! Also, I had stretch marks from childbirth on my lower abdomen when I had the procedure. So in the early stage, I had really severe purple bruising below my navel! Luckily the bruise marks have all faded, but the area is now darkly discolored, almost like it got sunburned The swelling has completely settled, but the black discoloration remains, so I’m a little down about it... I’ve heard it usually fades as the skin regenerates over time, so I’m trying to be patient and watch the recovery! For the past few days, the area where I got the anesthesia injection has been feeling a little itchy from inside the skin now and then lol I asked the clinic, and they said it’s a natural phenomenon caused by the nerves and tissue recovering inside! I’m soothing it by gently rubbing it instead of scratching 💆‍♀️
