It feels like the swelling is going down, but also like it isn’t, and now that I tried makeup, the swelling has gone down. First of all, I’m so grateful to the doctor who made my eyes look like human eyes... lololololol There were hardly any reviews, and there weren’t any reviews from cases similar to mine, but I went there purely because I felt so drawn to it. I’m feeling so thankful for my intuition. The other hospital I was considering until the very end apparently started having some issues come up after I had surgery.
Every time I go in for follow-up, they check carefully, and they don’t brush off the things I’m curious about. They’re still meticulous. If I contact the clinic saying I’m anxious or worried, they add a follow-up appointment for me at the earliest possible date.
Because it was my fourth revision surgery, I said the scars were already there, so I just hoped they wouldn’t get worse. They haven’t gotten worse, and they said there is still some swelling, so I’m waiting. The part where I had the line lowered slightly overlaps with the old line, but they reassured me and said there are this many methods, and that once the swelling goes down, after consulting with me, they can proceed again, so I’m not too worried.
Even before surgery, they marked the line several times, and even during surgery, I blinked my eyes so many times. It was the first surgery where I wasn’t worried. The staff were also kind, and since I hardly ever take selfies, I’m comparing with the photo booth pictures I had taken. It used to be obvious to anyone that my eyes were uneven, and severely so, but when my friend saw them, they said, “Can they even be more symmetrical than this?” lololololol I’m satisfied.
The mucosal eversion is not quite back to how my eyes were before double eyelid surgery, but the eyelashes and mucous membrane area have come down a lot too. It just makes makeup feel fun.
Now I can sweep my bangs back, and I don’t care whether my bangs fall aside or whatever. I actually sweep them back because I’m hot. I can look people straight in the eyes and talk, and I’ve gained confidence first of all.
I really hoped this would be my last surgery, so I don’t even know how many times I consulted with the clinic before the surgery. I hoped this would be the final surgery, and because of the issue with the front line it’s a little like that, but since I trust the doctor... Honestly, I’m not particularly worried. It’s much better than before, so even now it doesn’t look that strange lololololol I’m just grateful to the doctor... and so grateful for my intuition.
