I had my first surgery, but because of signs of inflammation, I had the silicone removed.
I went to ㅇㄹㅂ, ㅁㅌ, and ㅅㅁㅇ, and they all said different things: remove the silicone and wait, or that surgery could be done right away at some places. Still, with my nose in this condition, I felt immediate surgery would be difficult. They said we should remove the silicone and do surgery once the nasal tissue and scar tissue improve, so I had the silicone removed at ㄹㅂㄹ in November. In two months, I think I’ll be able to have revision surgery. Since it’s a place famous on the app, I worried it might be an event-focused clinic, but the director seemed to specialize only in noses, and I liked it. When I went for my consultation, the person next to me said it was their 4th nose surgery... they said it seemed to have gone well, so I’m going to go for one more consultation before getting surgery too.
Even I’m having such a hard time, so I think people who developed contracture must be struggling so much emotionally. Everyone, let’s stay strong and make our surgeries successful.
