1-Month Review After Double Chin Grape-Cluster Liposuction and Muscle Tying

Before surgery, I got a lot of information from this community, so I’ll share my review too...

I was the type with a double chin and a lot of cheek fat, and I had in-person consultations at about 3 places, looked things up online, watched YouTube, and so on.

Still, I decided on a hospital that seemed like it would be thorough. I felt a bit uneasy about factory-style clinics ㅠㅠ

Anyway, I think the surgery took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and even right after surgery, I barely had any pain and went home in very, very good condition. Until day 3, I was just a little swollen and slightly sore, and around days 5-7, I took off the bandage. The bruising was broad, yellowish, and faint on my neck. By around day 10, the bruising was barely visible, and the swelling had gone down a lot, so unless I said something, people wouldn’t know. Around day 20, the jawline that had been hidden by swelling became visible. From around then, I was extremely satisfied with the effect. I was really happy because the fat under my chin was definitely gone compared with before. Now, on day 30, a lot of sensation has returned under my chin too (it originally had no sensation). The only thing that bothers me is that there is a hard, tight area under my chin, maybe scar tissue or a lump. This hard tissue is gradually becoming less than at first. And when I asked my friend, they said that if I didn’t mention it, they might not notice, but once I said it, it looked totally different. I’m very satisfied, at least so far!

*Things I’m disappointed about -I slightly regret not considering the muscle tying more carefully. Because I think liposuction itself rarely causes side effects, but with muscle tying, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out.. I also feel like I’m noticing a few minor side effects little by little now. For example: *I can’t stretch my neck upward *The back of my neck and shoulders are especially tense That’s about it. Since it has only been one month, I’m not sure whether it will get better or how it will go. If you’re a bit young, I think it may be okay to have only liposuction after checking the condition somewhere that does ultrasound and can also look at the muscles..

-I wish I had also considered a place that provides very full aftercare.

-2-month review update -The area where I had chin liposuction sometimes gets extremely itchy and has sharp, tingling pain -I think I’ll be able to lift my chin upward over time -I regret not checking the postoperative aftercare carefully when choosing the hospital.. -After applying scar ointment, the scar is disappearing well -I’m lazy, so I haven’t been wearing the compression band well
