A few days ago, I went for my 2-week follow-up after under-eye fat repositioning. First of all, looking at it now, there has been no improvement under my eyes at all. The doctor said, ‘It’s because of swelling for now,’ and ‘Let’s check again in a month,’ then looked at the photo taken right before surgery and said, ‘This was a pretty tricky and difficult case~’ But during the pre-op consultation, he said it was a typical case and that it could be resolved smoothly and easily, with a lot of confidence. Also, right now my under-eye area has lifted a lot at a 45-degree angle, so my eyes look heavy and tight. So I asked when my eye shape would go back, and he looked at my pre-op eye photo (not a photo looking straight ahead accurately, but one where I was looking upward, so it came out making me look like I had sanpaku eyes) and said, “It looks much better now, though. I hope it doesn’t go back~” But I don’t know why these things sound so much like he’s trying to lay the groundwork. It feels like he also thinks the surgical result isn’t that good, but he keeps laying the groundwork so that if I complain about the surgical result later, he can say things like, ‘It was a tricky case, so originally this was all that could be resolved,’ and ‘Your eye shape looks much better now.’ Oh, and he told me to get filler later. During the pre-op consultation, he said there was no need to put anything in, whether fat grafting or filler...
Ha... I just don’t have a good feeling about this. Has everyone had a similar experience like this? From how it looks to everyone here, does that seem like he’s trying to avoid responsibility later?
