Hehehe, I had revision rhinoplasty after more than ten years. The boundary between the silicone implant and the nasal tip was becoming more and more prominent, so I went around to more than ten places for consultations, and I had so many CT scans taken. In the process, I found out that the silicone had calcified, and I also found out it was a 4-4.5 mm silicone implant.
Anyway, I had the silicone replaced after lowering it by about 1-1.5 mm, and the nasal tip was done with ear cartilage. The director has been doing this for a very long time and is highly skilled, so I like the line... The problem is that I developed a horizontal wrinkle on the nasal bridge that wasn’t there before. At my one-week follow-up, I visited the clinic and asked the director about it, but he immediately shut it down, saying it wasn’t caused by this surgery;; I had only asked because I wondered if it might be due to stretched skin, since the silicone was lowered, even if only by 1 mm. I thought he would say something like it would improve over time, or that it was because of swelling, but... He just ended it with, “It must have been a wrinkle you already had. It wasn’t caused by the surgery I performed.”;; If he looks at the pre-op photos, it should be obvious that the wrinkle wasn’t there... Anyway, if anyone has experienced this kind of wrinkle, please let me knowㅠㅠ
