It’s not like drawing one line would make me Kim Tae-hee, and people around me said my eyes were attractive as they were,,, so I kept saying I wouldn’t get double eyelid surgery, but my mom told me to do it, so I ended up going reluctantly and getting it done. My goodness, why didn’t I do it sooner? lolololol
I had the surgery about 4 years ago.
From the start, I didn’t have much fat around my eyes, so I had several creases (kind of like people of Arab descent), and I was told my sunken eyes would gradually get worse, so I had fat grafting + incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction.
Afterward, the lines were uneven, so around half a year later I had another correction, and now I’m living well~ But because the fat is absorbed at different rates, one side is a little more sunken (to the extent that others don’t notice unless I tell them, just enough that only I care about it).
I was satisfied here, so last year I took my younger cousin there to get it done too, but the price had gone up so much compared with when I had it done,,, I remember being surprised.
For those debating whether to get double eyelid surgery or not, go go go go! It definitely makes doing makeup more fun and photos come out prettier! And with non-incisional buried suture methods, people definitely start getting revision surgery after about 4-5 years, but with incision, it’s nice not having to worry about that.
