Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Nose (functional rhinoplasty, ENT directors) reviews after consultations at 5 places (ㅂ…

Hi guys... I organized it in Excel however I wanted and just cropped out the image. Click to view it.

I went around to 5 places for consultations, but I'm still deciding.

My rhinitis is severe, so I can barely breathe through my right nostril. Wherever I go and get a CT, they say my airway is completely blocked. So I mainly looked for directors who are ENT specialists.

If there is anyone here who, like me, is mainly looking for functional rhinoplasty with ENT directors, please recommend some clinics.. let's share.. Also.. if anyone here had a successful surgery.. please recommend the clinic too.. ㅜㅜ

Anyway, I'm leaving this review hoping it helps even a little for everyone who is worrying like me : ) , I can't answer questions about prices,, because some clinics told me not to disclose the price.

For everyone going around for consultations, if the consultation fee plus CT scan fee comes out to more than 20,000 won, ask them to issue the documents and make sure to claim it through your indemnity insurance~

And... definitely go to in-person consultations, guys There is a big difference between online research and actually going in person, and you can only know the price once you go anyway... so make sure to go out and get consultations.

(++ add-on)

Some people were curious, so I’m adding a bit more of what I personally thought in case it helps with choosing~!

First, I excluded ㅂㄷㄴ and ㅎㄴㅂ first.

For ㅂㄷㄴ, my philtrum is on the long side, but they suggested lifting the alar rims there. (They said my alar rims looked droopy, making my nose look long, so they suggested lifting the alar rims)

But in that case, they said my philtrum would look even longer ㅇㅇ.....which is obvious. It was the first consultation I went to, so I didn’t realize this part then, but after going around to other consultations, I felt like they really only looked at the nose and didn’t look at overall facial harmony, so I excluded it from my options.

Also, because my face is asymmetrical, they suggested doing nostril reduction and alar rim lifting on only one side each... that part also bothered me a bit, and at other clinics, they evaluated the surgery itself called “alar rim lifting” as having scars so severe that it’s worse than not doing it, or as not feasible, so after thinking about it, I excluded it!

ㅎㄴㅂ was excluded simply because they said they have no CCTV in the operating room at all! When I looked at the post-op photos, this place was my taste though ㅠㅠ so I still feel regretful!!

I liked that ㄴㅈㄹ was closed rhinoplasty..... but the consultation with the consultant was too long (the consultant did seem somewhat more professional than at other places.) And the director himself seemed to have too much confidence about inflammation, which actually made me a little uneasy. So I excluded it.

The clinic was confident about the surgery (they first suggested that if I gave them photos right after surgery because my nose would turn out well, they would give me a discount), but I think the fact that this was expressed through the consultant rather than the director was also a negative point.

But honestly, I really thought a lot about this place too!! However, my nasal septum is very severely deviated... so I excluded it because I thought maybe an open approach would be right to correct it properly.

That’s it! I’m sure everyone has a lot to think about, so I hope this helps!
