After living really naturally with eyes that had buried-suture double eyelid surgery about 12 years ago, one eye became slightly loose, so there were times when an extra crease would form. I went to several places for surgery consultations, asking them to make the line exactly along my existing line.
It was a hospital with lots of reviews for revision surgery and no blacklisted-type reviews even in cosmetic-surgery side effect communities.
1st surgery. Had buried-suture double eyelid surgery + non-incisional ptosis correction (The director emphasized fixation strength and did not force, but recommended ptosis correction. I kept debating until the day of surgery and went through with it.)
2nd surgery. After 27 days Maybe because I was recommended it even though my eyes did not need non-incisional ptosis correction, I suffered functional side effects, so I had the non-incisional ptosis correction released and had the line fixed again with buried sutures (The ptosis correction and buried suture were one thread, so it had to be fixed again.)
3rd surgery. After 6 weeks After about 6 weeks, I had to have surgery to remove the buried sutures. I had emphasized keeping my original line exactly, but the line was crooked and the asymmetry was severe. On one side, the buried suture also looked bunched up every time I closed my eye.
It has been 2 weeks since everything was released, and I have returned to my first-surgery line, but for now, there is nothing I can do about some scarring.
Since this was a revision surgery I went ahead with because I was concerned that one side had loosened slightly, I will still have to look into it again going forward.
For now, at this hospital, communication with the consultant is smooth, but the director is so busy with surgeries that it is very hard to schedule.
Maybe because my eyes were ruined, when I look now at the review photos that first felt natural, I can see that they look unnatural.
Because my first surgery turned out so naturally, I do not think this is a hospital that can express that kind of naturalness.
