It has already been almost 3 years since I had cheekbone contouring. Even right after the surgery, I had noises and discomfort from the right cheekbone area, but when I went for a follow-up 3 weeks later, fortunately they said there was no nonunion. Then I was supposed to go for another follow-up 3 months later, but I live in another region and work too, so it was hard to take time off. I kept putting it off because it was a hassle, and now the side effects are starting to become really visible, so I’m thinking of going. Please tell me whether I need revision surgery.
The left side is really fine, but the right side feels stiff, sometimes makes noises, and I also have cheek hollowing. Maybe because the front cheek has sagged, or I don’t know why, the front cheek sticks out like a deep cheek fat pad, and nasolabial folds I didn’t have are gradually appearing. It looks so strangeㅠㅠ But even right after the first surgery, when there was swelling, this phenomenon was there. When they removed the stitches, the manager did it, and she was terrible at removing them. She said it was all done, but I felt uneasy and went to a dental clinic, and they removed more stitches for me... Could this also be why the deep-cheek bulging appeared?
And there is a pin near the sideburn area, and only on the right side this part is protruding like a lump... Is this a symptom of nonunion? If anyone has experienced symptoms like this, please let me know.
When I had cheekbone surgery, the swelling was severe and it was so hard, so I’m really scared thinking I may have to spend money and time on revision surgery again... I also have to keep working... My original face shape was on the slim side, so everyone tried to stop me from getting facial contouring, and I really regret it. If anyone is thinking about surgery, please don’t do it. Please...
