Before sharing my consultation review, I’ll explain my eyes. I have completely monolid eyes, and even if the line is set just a little high, my eyes look very heavy/greasy. So my eyes definitely need an inline or in-out line!
1. Apgujeong JD Plastic Surgery (single-doctor clinic)
Consultation: director > consultant Surgery: inline_buried method (6 stitches), canthoplasty, no ptosis correction Anesthesia: sedation + local Time: 15 min~ Swelling: 1-2 weeks Price: 1.65 million KRW No need for stitch removal, face washing/shower/shampoo possible from the day after surgery AS for 1 year. After that, there is a fee, but if revision surgery is done, they charge the same as the first surgery amount
2. Apgujeong KL Plastic Surgery (single-doctor clinic)
Consultation: director > consultant Surgery: in-out_buried method (4 stitches), canthoplasty, no ptosis correction Anesthesia: local Time: 40 min~ Swelling: 1-2 weeks Price: 1.5 million KRW Stitches removed after 2 days, AS for 1 year
3. Sinnonhyeon MB Plastic Surgery (large clinic)
Consultation: consultant > director > consultant Surgery: inline_natural adhesion, epicanthoplasty (required) Anesthesia: sedation + local Time: ~1 hour Swelling: Price: 1.87 million KRW Stitches removed after 6-7 days, AS for 1 year
Because my Mongolian fold is strong, the front part is not visible at all, so I need epicanthoplasty. They said that if I do epicanthoplasty, even they “don’t know how it will turn out” ..lol
I have completely monolid eyes, but even if I get double eyelid surgery, they would set a line that looks like monolids when I open my eyes, only making the eyes bigger. If I paid the deposit that day it would be 1.2 million, and if I didn’t book right away, it would be 1.87 million KRW. Looking at other reviews too, it did seem like a clinic that pressures you hard to pay a deposit. I forgot to ask about swelling.

Honestly, I went to MB with really high expectations, but both the line and the consultation were bad. I had a consultation with the chief director, but he sighed right in front of me, and I felt so offended that I don’t think I even got a proper consultation.
I’m going to one more consultation this Saturday, and I’ll organize the final clinic where I’ll have surgery and post again!
